And if the life on another planet were intelligent enough, I see no reason why their engineers should not co-operate to build spaceships. If we could do it, we would build spaceships and fill them up with anthropologists and biologists and other scientists, and send them to go and find out stuff about intelligent life on other planets. Possibly eventually followed by tourist trips. I see no reason why life could not exist on other planets.
