Satisfaction
Whenever I publish an article here, I get an immense feeling of satisfaction.
Writing about my Asperger’s really does help me to make sense of just how it affects me.
It’s often not until I write an article that the tangled spaghetti of my thoughts starts to become un-jumbled. Somehow the act of writing puts everything together in a way that makes sense to me – more sense than my thoughts made before I started to write.
I’ll keep writing here for as long as that feeling of satisfaction keeps coming.

Yeah, that goes for me too. Writing an article causes you to think more carefully about your motivations in particular scenarios. It helps me to understand myself.

I also find that writing is great for helping me gather my thoughts and understand my life better.
BTW, there’s an award waiting for you on my blog. Stop by when you get a chance!

Rachel,
Thanks for the award!
I’m starting to wonder if writing is something of a key Aspie skill and/or trait. Through observation, I suspect that typically those who don’t have Asperger’s are much better at gathering their thoughts without having to resort to writing things down.
I I have something to figure out – pretty much anything – I find that writing about it is much more likely to lead to a sensible result than any other method of decision making.
